THE FIVE DAYS THAT I HAVE MISSED HYDERABAD ! ! ! ! !

FEB 6th :

Hmmmm…….. another day has begun we hoped that all things will fall in the right place at the right time !!!!
We had great start to the day .Our train reached agra at 6.00 odd and we had a nice photos with our ever active sleepy faces .Again there were butterflies in my tummy wanting their fuel !!! Aur mujh se rahan nahin gaya…and we brought a bread nd omlet .
And at last the journey ended when we reached da NIJAMUDDIN station 14kms from IIT-delhi .Our group of 6 + 7 of those EEE guys got out of the station . Then the first challenge in delhi started BARGAINING wid the taxi guy and the battle ended as a draw . STUDENTS vs TAXI WALAH --à TIED
We nd dat guy settled for a reasonable amount ( NOTE : rates according to delhi not Hyderabad) . The one thing that we ppl got impressed with delhi was their traffic sense , absolutely great ,,,,, but still HYDERABAD rocksssssssssssss .
And our eyes gazed with a sense of pride seeing the main gate of

“Indian Institute of Technology – New Delhi “

By the the time we reached the main guest house we were like rural people coming into a Night club …….hehehhehh. At the main guest house we met Swapnil Dubey the organizer. Until we met him we had a totally different schedule , but after we met that guy our minds changed . Our accommodation has been set up at ASSAM BHAVAN . All we ppl shifted to Assam bhavan which was outside the campus. All we thought about assam bhavan before reaching is that being a “General ward in a hospital with some 20 beds !!!! “ . But the rooms were in an excellent shape . We were again impressed.

Quickly we had a small lunch and then shirish told dat we all will go to Palika bazaar for shopping and some sight seeing .
The one new thing that I hve learnt in Delhi was to bargaining and fighting with the taxi walah and auto walah …huhhhhhhh saala ek bhi Rs.100 ke neeche nahin letha hain !!

Another disadvantage in delhi were the city buses . They absolutely clueless ,I think they are the worst buses. The number of the bus is displayed as if an advertisement is displayed…..those buses were absolutely freakyyyyyyyy ! And we even got confused between ordinary bus and a metro bus . So we settled with an auto … again repeating the same thing bargaining ….! While traveling in the auto our creative fren cum photographer(hehehehh) shot nice pictures of Rashtra Pati bhavan and the Parliament . dey were amazing.

We reached Palika Bazaar ………ahaaaaa then absolutely this will be most deadliest of all challenges to take up ………..to fight with the Shop walah….mujhe aisa laga ki hum delhi bargain ke liye hi aaye hain !!

All we three me , Dinesh , shanthan looked up to Shankar as “GOD” . He is a master in doin things like bargaining .HE nearly toyed with all those shop vendors . I picked up a T-Shirt for my self and a jersey for my bro . After the shopping we 6 just walked across the Janpath road( yeah yeah…soniya Gandhi resides at 10 Janpath Rd.) .
Now our tummies started to tickle..shirish gave an idea that we wil have some chat .
I told him “ bete ye Hyderabad nahin hain jo jahan bhi chahe ek chat bandi milega …! “

Sharth gave an idea that we search for a restaurant rather dan a chat bandi. We’ve found one also. Sharat suggested dat we go into it ..( I had my own share of dbts) It was a hotel called SARVANA BHAWAN(Pure veg) at connaught place ( it is strictly for those ppl who have money growing in their houses). I will give u what were the reactions of we ppl in steps
1.All we ppl went into da hotel ….
2.shirish opened da menu card
3. He closed da menu card …
4. I opened it …and den even I too closed it ……hmmm
5.Shankar asked wht happed buddy ….???

IDLY PLATE 40 BUCKS

Everybody’s jaws dropped like an anchor from a ship . This was enough to get a glimpse of NEW DELHI . The reason what I said to the waiter was “ No ….we wanted Non Veg !!!!” …..hehehehehheeh

That shirish never left hope that we will find a chat Bandar….and time and time I enlightened him dis is not Hyderabad.
DELHI PROOVED TO BE THORN IN OUR FLESH !!!!!!!!!!
I hate delhi atleast for this thing .

It was evening and the first success in delhi …we boarded a bus ….yuppppppie !!!
We went to chandni chowk to have some brilliant dinner . I chalked out a plan to have some nice chicken ..but kya kare wahan “chole batore” that we ate …occupied da same size of my stomach ..when I ate two burgers !!!! Then we moved to move to the near by Red Fort . We decided to walk !!
It was like a bright Red sun shining in the dark .

Then the ultimate thing …” INDIA GATE “ at its best. It was a Chocolate cake to our eyes ( toast sounds routine….. so changed it a bit) . We people ran short of adjectives praising it . We all felt da “Rang De basanthi” effect …”BE A REBEL “ . We encounterd a new problem ..BATTERIES…They quickly exhausted…But how will our creative mind “SHANKAR “ get exhausted ..no way !!!
He nearly removed whatever dere was in da batteries…. something like taking the last drop of juice from a mango !!! ( stupid comparision I know…) Hats off to his patience .He made every shot possible .Then we went back to Assam Bhawan and everybody had a nice sound sleep ….because

“ there was something big waiting to get unleashed the next day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
