The Departed !

Suddenly dere was a shock and uproar ...world seeemd to be changing ......no things we re looking bright ....the world came falling down on people who were associated with him . How could he just leave us ....that was da question everybody had in there mind .The morning when i had finished my tution class.i just went through by his house hoping that he would be alright ...i thought !

After a few hours i was having my lunch and suddenly the phone kept ringing, my mom picked up the phone ....and then a scream of shock from my mother and she was just in disbelief what she was listening to and i came running from where i was sitting , my mom couldnt break the news to me because it was news that had the power to shatter some worlds. The moment the news touched my ears , i was almost shouting like i have lost my life
...he was that close to me and everybody !

Me and my mom immediately went to his house and it was really hard to take each step ....and it was a scene that i never dreamt of . The whole of the apartment was there on the 3rd floor .People were there all around but somebody was lying on the floor unmoved like he has lost his senses and people were around him and tears were rolling down there cheeks as if they were just released from a prison called eyes. I cried , cried and cried until my tears are finshed im my body and they were carrying his body out of the house and i had a last glimplse of the boy

with whom i laughed ,

with whom i played ,

with whom i fighted ,

and

who i always looked up to !!!

May be he is Departed physically but he is never a Departed from our mind and soul and he continues to live in our thoughts and words !!

THE RACE FOR THE 2nd ...


almost a champion but not exactly

It was just another day of office for HRH Federer (His Royal Highness) at the recently concluded US open '07.He battered the upcoming star(so called) Djokovic Black and Blue.I think that was not at all a surprise for the young lad. And with this win he gets closer to the record of Pistol Pete's 14 grand slam titles . Pete would be really proud to handover his title to worthy+1 candidate like Roger. So in few years there would be no record existing not conquered by Roger.

So any time a grand slam gets started , when the draws for the main rounds are taken , he would be the worst nightmare for any one who has just started their tennis career and for roger it has become like a daily routine to win win win and of course win. And even though he loses now and keeps losing continuosly still he will be one of the greatest sportsperson ever to dominate a sport in that fashion , Winning all grand slam titles except the golden apple ---French open which he almost made it losing to the construction worker called Nadal.

Suggestion: So whenever anybody wants to see Federer losing , dont pray for the opposite player to play well instead pray for Federer playing badly . By the standards at which he is playing at the moment only "he can beat "himself" .

When the grand slam gets started people are just watching to see who will be the runner-up . The only threat he faced early in his career was by Andy roddick ( i dont think A-rod wil ever think like that because the head to head rivalry is 14-1. That one win was the threat i was talking about)

A-Rod would have never in his wildest dreams thought that his serve (that was the best until he met fed-ex) would be destroyed so easily by federer by just playing few games.Unsurprisingly A-Rod hit some 30 aces in his previous match and in the match agaisnt Fed he hit a mere 7 aces to Fed's 15. This doesnt mean that Fed's serve is one of the most bombastic of serves , i guess he has the most accurate of serves. Once A-rod has almost agreed that he loses the will to fight when he plays Federer !

Nowadays there is another talk that there is an upcoming player named Djokovic who is likely to dethrone Federer , but when you brand a player as an upcoming player and unfortunately if Federer is in the draw , the player would still be an upcoming player for another 3yrs( im a bit modest). Such is the phenomena called FEDERER that he makes an Unforced Error look beautiful and graceful just as a normal point .

So i think the caption for any tournament in which Federer plays should be like

" US OPEN RUNNERUP , AUSTRALIAN OPEN RUNNERUP" not really championships because people are getting bored .

the training period .......!!!!!!

And there end's my training session !!! ohh sorry that was just the technical training i finished at SQL STAR . I think that training
was like a jolly ride more than techie stuff. On the last day at SQL STAR we had a call from Ranjit Roy .

So on the first day of the GLOSS training (Global settlement systems ....no further details to be revealed ...confidential to the public....heeheh) all the trainees had a fear that shakuni mama would start the "bhagvad geetha "(intresting na ..shakuni telling bhagvad geetha) regarding our test performance but the situation was different , he introduced out trainer ..Veera Sekhar(an International trainer) . He is one of the chilled out personality in the company. Before my training i had a small chat
with last batch of the trainees , they said that the first few days would be excellent but as the schedule progresses .......hmmm no comments.
So then out training kickstarted with the buisness logic related to financial market ....it was like too good because very few people know regarding that thing and even i started testing my father regarding that ....heheh . There were many fights b/w trainees because the topics of
buisness were ambiguous and Veera used to nearly break his head because of our stupid doubts . So the first five days went away reading some documents and PDF's . On the second day again shakuni mama came and started introducing us to our Mentors . As usual i
was the odd one out ...my Project Mngr Manoj told that my mentor is yet to be decided ( why always only me ???) .Then we started going deep into the subject of GLOSS ...it was a hell of a product ...the most complex of products made by WILCO. The funny thing is that it is being used since 20yrs ....phewww. The product runs on a bloody old Unix server . Coming to the trainees during this period vinay was always the leading man ....me and kiran played hell lot of pranks on kusuma and sagz( sagari nick name ...hhehe) .

One day kusuma almost complained that her cheeks never ached that way , because she never laughed that way in her life. And Preethi with her witty jokes and ankur with his most complex of doubts . One day veera asked ankur that " Do you by ne chance remember the answers for your doubts ?? " everybdy in the room went into a roar .

Then after few days manoj introduced me to my mentor Vivek . He has been in the comany for 4yrs and he never leaves me without asking few set of questions at the end of th day , gives some assignments and stuff . He told me that he would "kill me" (u read it right) if i once again had a doubt on Static and dynamic data . I nearly murdered kusuma with my stupid doubts on the same thing. And by that way the jolly ride was nearly coming to an end . But still we never ever stopped laughing or playing pranks even it was time to get serious . Then as the days went by we had to stay longer after the training session for some hands on practise of the training session .

Now in the whole group only i had a mentor who asked me to write a brief write up of the day ..( again why only me ???) and he used to question me on that.
And the other thing that irritated me are those buses flooded with the crowd and the traffic ....( ori devudooo ...daani gurinchi cheppadam na tho inka kaadu ) . And the next week will be my dummy project ....as vivek warned me ..the project as well as the mentors will play with us , thats the perfect definition of " In front crocodile festival !!" .
By the time u reach the end of the blog ( or before it self ) u will realise that my so called training period has another name in my company .( arrange dos highlighted letters in the same order) . I really did not have any idea why would people called that word but now i understand .

My first day of the corporate world !!

So the first whom i met was Percy da receptionist .

Percy:"Can u plz wait in da security subhashini(HR) will get back to u "
I gave a decent look and went into the reception expecting something quick to happen.
At the security dey told dat she'll be dere in 15-20 mins .

NOTE : " In corporate world 20mins= 2 hrs. "

Hey forgot to tell you something ..I've finished reading The Hindu , Times of India , India Today twice phewwww .

Now at 12.30 somebdy took notice of me ....that was Shwetha (HR). She gave me some forms to fill up and UTI bank account form . I filled it up but now she was missing . Now i met another new entries into the company one was into Admin his name was subhash chandra bose , another one from kolkatta and the last one was Dasharath . The moment he opened his mouth i found out his native place . He pronounced fresher as "pressure".
We still dint give the forms back , so i stuffed alll those filled up forms into my bag and moved outside for lunch .

After lunch then we had somebdy attending us...dat was shwetha again . She took da forms in a flash was she went away in a flash . She told that she would be back in 15mins ( calculate da time urself ) . Then we had Deepa Kulkarni bringing some background check forms . We filled it up and gave it back . She tol dat she wld be back in 10mins....phewww (naaku alavatu ipoyindi ).

Then the moment of truth ( sounds heavy ....but punch undali kada) ....she brought my offer letter (its the first time im seeing it ). It was a heavy 4 pages letter . I had to sign on the duplicate copy and give it to her . She explained me all the things regarding salary and other stuff . By the time this all happened Swetha was back with Temporary Access ID's . Now i was the only one waiting for Dileep Narayan(HR) ... and i waited for another hour. Then he came and took me to my team . First i met B.Sreedhar (exc.mngr) , well he is da one who interviewed me in the 3rd round. Then he took me to Manoj (prjt.mngr) who interviewed me in the 4th round. He was a bit busy with US clents ..so i had to wait for another 1 1/2 hr to meet him ...in the mean time i met some of the team members sreedhar , pani , mahender , raghavendra ...etc etc . Then i found my fren sharat , he actually joined some 1month back and had some good idea abt da company ...and i interrogated him (hehehe) .

Then we had Daulat Lakhani ( US HR ... u can call her dolly) . She was introduced to every member of the team i was da last one . We had a PIZZA party and dere was a shocking news for me ...... actually i had no partners to get trained ....reason was i was da only one selected . So i have to wait for 2-3 days for my partners to come and join me . I had even the problem TEmp ID's ...dey werent working for the floor which i was dere.

So i told sreedhar that i wld come back 2morow.

So ala jarigindandi naa modati roju ( manamu office nunchi bayatai vachchamu gaa so Telugu)

.........JUST AN UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!


Recently heard news ....
There are approximately 20 crore blogs in the world which are not updated regularly !The moment i saw this news .......i realised that ......... hey even i was a part of that absconding group( which i would like to call)I kept thinking what would be the reason for so many bloggers absconding their hobby of blogging .

Of all the bloggers , there only 20% who are avid bloggers . They keep track of all the happenings in their surroundings and makes some masala kind of stuff to make the post look spicy .
And coming to the remaining 80% ..... i really had to scratch my head to find out the reasons why people have created a blog and are not using it .

the 1st reason would be lack of motivation or even topics . Many people just created a blog written some intresting posts which have crossed their minds (before creating the blog) and then ......( u know) !!

the 2nd reason would be "show off" .
The person would create a blog , writes some silly and crappy stuff (which he also would'nt understand) and goes to his friends and tells them that he is an avid blogger . I dont know why people do this .....yeah yeah i know show Off .

the 3rd reason would be privacy of work they write .
Many people treat blog as an online personal diary ..they write the events which happened in the entire day ..... but as you know there are some personal news which he/she cant share ...so online diary is a bit dangerous for this thing .

By looking at this post ... now dont keep searching for the "moral" of the post . I have written this post just to reduce the number from 20 crores to ....20 crores -1 ( if you have the patience put on all those 0's if you like ) ...as it is " just an update" ...you know !!!

B-o-r-e .....dom

(inspired by the title of a post by my friend hemanth)

I have thought about this post when i went to my mom's place .....and there i got totally freaked out ...and yes you guessed it right i got
b-o-r-e-d !
So i observed and i even asked some of my close one's what they do when they get bored ...so here are some of intresting answers given by
them and some observations made by me ...



My Mom : She may be the only person who never says she is bored (believe it or not ) . She always keeps herself busy with some work or the other . If there is no work ....she starts reading the newspaper and asks me the meanings of words which i dont even know
....huhhhh and then she picks up a dictionary and starts telling me the meaning ....thanks mom for filling my empty brain .

My sis : Coming to my sis ....she is totally opppsite to my mom ...she is easily bored . So i just tickled her on what would she do if
she gets bored....The answer was quick ...she would create new sudoku puzzles and starts solving them .Hey another intresting answer
from her " when iam bored i bore other people " ...i really wonder how she would succeed.

My Brother: When this guy is bored ...well he does the thing which he loves the most, playing cricket . He essays the role of batsmen , bowler , fielder ..and he doesn't even spare the umpire..you may be puzzled ..this guy plays virtual cricket when he gets bored.
Imagines himself to be tendulkar and starts bashing the air ...intresting isn't it !

My dad : My dad is a kind of person who never shows what his mood is .The moment he senses something boring he just goes out for walk , starts reading the newspaper or else he'll do the famous activity sleeping .



I have written this post keeping in mind that you wont get bored ..if you get , then start doing your activities which you have planned to do when
you get bored .
